A burial mounds in Goranboy in Safikurd village. It situated in 15km of village. It is 2000 years old. During the excavations the they found jugs chains rings and etc. and now those all are kept in Goranboy history museum.
There is a Shatal City in goranboy region in the village of Rahimli.it is situated in south east of villiage.it belongs to middle centuries. The longest of castle is 700m, the area is 40 ha, the meaning of th shatal means happiness. the remainders of the city are still protected by the government. If you want to go to that place you can get on the bus going to ganja.
There are many mosques in Gormanboy.the people living here are Moslems. And there are many mosques here. one of them is in Qizilhajili village .it belongs 18th and 19th centuries. in places they say that it has been built in 18 t centuries but in some origins they say that it has been built usta Mahhammad in 1861 year. During 1937 years it has been used as a grain bin, but then it was destroyed. But it has rebuilt again 1984.
There are many temples in goranboy. One of them is in Borsunlu. This temple belongs to13th centuries. There are remainders of this temple and it is protected by the government. If you want go there you can get on the bus going to ganja. It will take you there.
There is a history museum in the center of Goranboy city. Many things reflecting Goranboys history are kept there. It is open 10 a.m to 6 p.m.
There is HAYDAR ALIYEV museum located in central Goranboy here and it is open from 9 a.m till 6.p.m
