Clearly the most stunning of Kaskikot's sights is the spectacular panorama of the Annapurna range which forms its backdrop. Stretching from east to west, the Annapurna massif includes Annapurna I to IV and Annapurna south. Although the highest among then is Annapurna I 8091m, it is Machhapuchhre which dominates all others in this neighborhood. Boastfully leviant in the skyline, the fish tailed pinnacle is the archtypical snow capped. Needle pointed mountain. The view of the Annapurna Himalaya from Kaskikot is almost a religious experience. From here, you can see a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks.
The main village is just below the ridge, but a set of concrete steps leads uphill to a dramatic viewpoint in the ruins of an ancient kot hill1788m.
