Staying overnight at the park is not allowed. Visitors must visit it from Ghagaria and come back before it is dark.

Budget hotels are available at around INR 1400-1500 per night at Ghangaria. Dormitories are also available. However travellers cannot expect expensive luxury facilities. Still hotel Krishna Place is one among the better hotels. You should not stay at tents at helipad grounds as they are one kilometer from Ghangaria and you need to trek one extra kilometer both ways from there. Electricity to Ghangaria reached last year.
