By car:From Freeway No. 1 or 3 change to Expressway 68 direction to Chutung east close to Hsinchu. At the end of the expressway turn left and follow road number 3 for a few kilometers and then turn right onto road 120 to Neiwan. A few kilometers after Neiwan turn right onto road 竹60 and cross the river 24°42´29´´N, 121°12´17´´E. After another few kilometers cross the bridge at the big aboriginal sculpture 24°41´17´´N, 121°13´05´´E. Follow this road for about 50 km until Zhenxibao 24°34´22´´N, 121°18´22´´E. The drive from Hsinchu will take about 2.5 to 3 hours. A permit has to be obtained at a police station 24°37´01´´N, 121°17´07´´E on the way 15 NTD fee.
