Str. sf. lazar 76. double room with shower 101 ron/night, no singles. a bit dodgy, but not altogether dismal. tv in each room. located up a little allyway next to the sala polivalenta sport complex, take bus number 41 or 28 and get off at sala sporturilor.

Unirii square. this is "the" posh hotel in town. it is in a recently refurbished building of xix th century, an architectural masterpiece of french architect gustave eiffel that was inaugurated in 1882 as the "traian grand" hotel. prices are moderate compared to the luxury you get, ranging from 80 euro for a double to 350 euro for the royal suite.
