Formerly known as the German Underground Hospital, the tunnels were built during the Second World War, and now is an interesting tourist attraction. Cut deeply into rising hills, the site is now a museum telling the story of Jersey, which, along with the other Channel Islands, was the only part of Britain to be occupied by Germany during the war.
