Getting around on the south is a breeze. Public transport operates regularly as often as every 10 minutes along the south coast road. Choose from the government operated "transpoart board buses" which are easily recognizable large blue buses with a yellow stripe. Mini-buses smaller yellow buses with blue stripe and ZR vans small white vans with purple stripe that seat up to 15 people are privately operated. All buses operate to and from Bridgetown, the captial of Barbados, with the by-pass bus running from the south coast directly to the west coast.
