By car
you can reach Horeke from State Highway 1 SH 1. Turn into Rangiahua Road in Rangiahua and follow the signs to Horeke. You drive 10 km on a sealed road.
you can also reach Horeke from State Highway 12 SH 12 in Taheke. Turn into Taheke Road in Taheke and drive towards Horeke. There is an unsealed part of 9 km in between Taheke and Horeke.
By boat
