Omahuta Kauri Sanctuary
About 2 km South of Mangamuka Bridge, you turn East into Omahuta Road. Follow the Road (about 7 km) until you see Sanctuary Road to your right. Take Sanctuary Road and follow it to the end where you find the parking for the sanctuary. The road is narrow, so please drive slowly.

Drive to SH 1 and turn North towards Kaitaia In Mangamuka Bridge turn left and follow road signs to Kohukohu, distance Horeke-Kohukohu is 60 km

drive to State Highway 1 and then turn right towards Okaihau, drive to Kerikeri is 45 min, to Paihia 60 min
