Kushimoto 串本町 Kushimoto-chō is a small coastal town in Wakayama Prefecture in the Kansai region of Japan. It is a useful base for exploring and/or enjoying the activities of the prefecture's extreme south. In relation, the town sits on the southernmost point of Japan's main island of Honshu, which serves as tourist attraction itself.
